About

Dr. Torree McGowan grew up in rural southern Oregon. She is a 2001 Distinguished Graduate of the US Air Force Academy, one of the premier leadership training institutions in the world.  

She then earned her medical doctorate at Oregon Health and Science University in 2005.  She trained in emergency medicine with the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in Texas.

As an attending physician, she has been stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, and Travis Air Force Base, California.  She has also deployed to Iraq in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn, and Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

She currently lives in central Oregon with her husband and two sons on their 100 acre hay farm.  She is an accomplished horsewoman, in addition to her other talents.
