Dr. Torree McGowan, MD, FACEP is a board-certified emergency physician, Air Force veteran, and nationally recognized speaker on disaster medicine, military medicine, and leadership. A combat-deployed physician and Distinguished Graduate of the US Air Force Academy, she brings the lessons of the battlefield to audiences ranging from medical conferences to leadership summits. Her forthcoming book — an oral history of the founders of military emergency medicine — reflects her lifelong commitment to honoring the stories that shaped the specialty.
